CCI, CCE and Hub Application for Funding or Winter Term Internship Application for Credit
Description

Winter Term Internship for Credit (CCI) (Click for detailed information)

Each Winter Term, many students participate in internships and apply for the opportunity to earn academic credit while having high-level exposure to valuable work tied to academic and/or professional interests.

Competitive Grant Applications (CCI) (Click for detailed information)

Middlebury students are eager to gain real world experience, and CCI is here to help. We realize that sometimes a great summer internship may be unpaid or offer a very small stipend; CCI provides internship grants on a competitive basis to help students with expenses related to unpaid summer internships/experiences.

CCI Select & Cohort (CCI) (Click for detailed information)

Middlebury has several cohort internship programs where students intern at different organizations but share a common thread in terms of geography and/or theme. These programs most often include an academic and/or professional development curriculum that helps students understand the theme more systemically and more formally learn from one another. The framework of a cohort work, living, and learning experience adds value and contributes to the goals of a liberal arts education to prepare our students for life, work, and citizenship. There is perhaps no greater means to connect learning with work and career exploration, while building community among students of diverse backgrounds. Applications are submitted through Handshake to applicable internship job postings. Final application paperwork is done through this application.

Privilege & Poverty Internships (CCE) (Click for detailed information)

The Privilege & Poverty Academic Cluster offers summer internship opportunities locally in Addison County and nationally through the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty (SHECP). These cohort-based, funded internships help you connect intellectual interest to firsthand understanding of the complex dimensions of poverty. Choose from diverse opportunities across a variety of fields or propose an opportunity that suits your specific goals. Applications are submitted through Handshake to applicable internship job postings. Final application paperwork is done through this application.

Vermont Innovation Summer (IH) (Click for detailed information)

Vermont Innovation Summer is a program supporting a cohort of students working at companies and on self-directed projects across Vermont’s innovation ecosystem. Applications are submitted through Handshake to applicable internship job postings. Final application paperwork is done through this application.
